i've been lax in my blogging but i have fun stuff i've come across recently:

being nerdy about music - on slashdot the scary thing is i actually do like the songs that he comes up with.

there sure is a lot of interesting information about the lingo of the illicit substance trade provided by our government - can you just picture the compilation of this list. it seems like a really fun job.

i accomplished my vital task this weekend of buying a bikini. and going in the hottub. and drinking copious amounts of beer. i think perhaps my plan of getting more calories from beer is working a little too well.

i love pens - awesome article "scientifically" testing the wide array of niceish but not that expensive pens - i get very excited by the wide variety of new pen technology that is introduced - yay capitalism

oh my god - jimmy tambrello does hip hop i love his work - and i love hip hop. i really want to do a crazy indie hip hop mix cd - this would almost certainly make an appearance if it is even half as good as i'm thinking it could be

damn - so much music this weekend

first the shins! so awesome - i was not so into the opening band the awful furnaces (aka the fiery furnaces) i had a headache so i took some advil, sat by the bathrooms, and wrote an ambitious to do list for this weekend. Sat i went to amoeba!

drank too much beer on saturday at metal night

franz ferdinand on sunday - so much fun! they rocked hard core and i was pretty into the blood arm too, they are so rock and roll (both bands) i'm excited to go see the blood arm at spaceland (which is sooo close to my new place) I need some new reading material or i need to start studying for exam 3 - not fun. blech. at least now i'm familiar with the distributions so that should help at least with some of it but life contigencies are a total bitch. and the exam writers seem like they really need to get laid. hopefully i passed 4 because $$$$$$ is good. i need to start saving. it's good at least that i'm contributing to my 401k. and the stock purchase plan is something. It's crazy how your expenditures expand to fit your income. It's really nice though to have an adequate income even if it isn't outrageous. I want an outrageous income so i can retire and open my brewery/yoga studio/laundromat/music venue in portland. or something like that.

i'm thinking of taking a trip to NYC in july. i had such a great time last time and plane tix are really fairly cheap (250ish incl. tax etc on jet blue) i could hang out with sonal before she jets off to honduras. crazy jetsetting high school friends.

wow - this weekend was soooo intense. i started the week feeling completely exhausted, physically sore, and emotionally drained. but i got my stereo set up in my new sexy room and i spent last night being exhausted and listening to records... hopefully i'll have some pics to post of the wedding cause people looked cute.

sooo happy to be done moving. the commute is a bitch but totally worth it - for now

slowly i'm crossing things off my list - going to give nabil stuff at lunch, sent the rent check, next i need some more adderall because work is not so happening without it, and i need to figure out that random bill from my doctor. wtf? that's why i have an HMO

i listened to the franz ferdinand album sooooo much this weekend. it was pretty much the only thing i listened to in my car - and i drove a fuck ton

i was not thrilled about other events this weekend. that's life, at least my life because i'm incompetent.
