damn - so much music this weekend

first the shins! so awesome - i was not so into the opening band the awful furnaces (aka the fiery furnaces) i had a headache so i took some advil, sat by the bathrooms, and wrote an ambitious to do list for this weekend. Sat i went to amoeba!

franz ferdinand on sunday - so much fun! they rocked hard core and i was pretty into the blood arm too, they are so rock and roll (both bands) i'm excited to go see the blood arm at spaceland (which is sooo close to my new place) I need some new reading material or i need to start studying for exam 3 - not fun. blech. at least now i'm familiar with the distributions so that should help at least with some of it but life contigencies are a total bitch. and the exam writers seem like they really need to get laid. hopefully i passed 4 because $$$$$$ is good. i need to start saving. it's good at least that i'm contributing to my 401k. and the stock purchase plan is something. It's crazy how your expenditures expand to fit your income. It's really nice though to have an adequate income even if it isn't outrageous. I want an outrageous income so i can retire and open my brewery/yoga studio/laundromat/music venue in portland. or something like that.

i'm thinking of taking a trip to NYC in july. i had such a great time last time and plane tix are really fairly cheap (250ish incl. tax etc on jet blue) i could hang out with sonal before she jets off to honduras. crazy jetsetting high school friends.
